Ms. Dawnita Brown of Black Girls Global Exchange. Ms Brown transitioned from a successful career in U.S. Government Service and went to serve in the Peace Corps in eSwatini and Soweto {Johannesburg} South Africa. What started as a desire to show the girls in her community in eSwatini the documentary Step which features the story of girls in Ms. Brown’s hometown;; at the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women. This desire blossomed into a revolutionary peer learning and cross-cultural exchange movement empowering girls in the U.S.. and Africa; to tackle global issues through arts and service. Also please donate to such a worthy mission, Cohort 2020;;; which is changing and improving the lives of BLaKGirls!!
